Con Bastiras Architects is a contemporary architecture and interior design practice based in Adelaide. Our work has involved a wide range of projects from small to large scale, including houses, multi residential, cinemas, retail and commercial buildings.
The practice was founded in 1994 and has since been widely recognised through various architecture awards, along with featuring in many major architectural publications.
We strive to efficiently deliver a project from the initial conceptual stages through to the finished product. Throughout the process, uncompromising attention is given to every detail, as we are committed to the craft and culture of architecture. All projects are informed by a sensitivity to context and an understanding of client requirements. As a small practice, we offer a personal service to our clients and take pride in the positive and lasting relationships created.
Much of our work has involved the careful and considered integration of new structures into historically significant contexts. Our care and understanding of place and context allows a sympathetic architecture to emerge, whilst always providing a fresh and contemporary expression.
Our involvement extends beyond the design of buildings to include the integration of furniture, fittings and landscape elements. Each project is approached with an open mind and each is a specific response to its brief and physical surroundings.
